New NDI Matrix Solution (Distribution / Conversion)

With the rapid development of NDI technology, traditional SDI-based infrastructures can no longer meet the demands of TV stations and professional platforms in live video production systems. Using IP signal compression, encoding and transmission technologies, NDI has been widely adopted in various hardware devices and software systems. Its advantages include simple cabling without space constraints (fully replacing SDI cables for transmission), low equipment and maintenance costs. The IP-based transformation of the entire production environment has become an inevitable trend in the future of television and media. NDI technology allows any device on a local area network to receive or send multiple NDI signals over a single Ethernet cable, completely replacing SDI cabling.

Current Situation & Requirements:

Although NDI supports multi-channel transmission, a single piece of NDI hardware cannot transmit arbitrary multiple NDI signals simultaneously. In large-scale NDI transmission systems, there is an urgent need for an NDI matrix system for large-scale signal distribution, routing and centralized management.
